How do the materials in the Prōn pack compare to regular packs?
A: Prōn packs are made with Ballistic nylon and 1000 weight cordura. The P-tek plastic coated nylon provides a no-slip surface for skis and snowboards.
Q: Wouldn’t the low price of the pack imply the pack is low quality?
A: The material used to make Prōn is cost effective. It has been tested for durability and versatility. It is a high quality material that is affordable. Compared to other packs the Pron pack is competitively priced, and great value for the cost
Q: How does the pack fit both men and women?
A: The pack has adjustable waist and shoulder straps. The lumbar and shoulder pads are Velcro to be adjusted according to the contour of your body. The physical differences between men and women necessitates a pack designed to form to those differences. Pron packs were designed with this in mind. Men have larger and broader shoulder blades than women and the majority of the packs on the market are designed for men’s backs, making packs uncomfortable for women. The Pron pack features an adjustable back rest that can be rotated to fit men on one side and women on the other. The design is made to average physical specifications of all body types, maximizing comfort.

A: Other packs are top loading. In an emergency situation, where every second counts, immediate access to organized contents is essential. A: The pack is designed for durability. The inside compressed compartments allow for multiple items to be stored without shifting around. There are also front pockets and a bladder bag for water to meet the needs of outdoorsmen of all types. For example, an extreme hiker would be able to carry the ropes, first aid, etc., needed for a long hike. An adventurous hiker, fisherman, hunter or even a soccer mom (believe it or not) will find the large quantity of storage options and compartmentalized design meets their needs.
